After 20 years, Thaman did it again?

It is unknown fact that Thaman is one of the most happening music director in South Indian cinema at the moment. He has been the primary choice for several superstar driven films in recent past and this trend is continuing now again.

However, in an interesting development, it is now being established that Thaman is returning to acting after over two decades, and here is looking into the story behind the same.

After having made his acting debut under Shankar’s direction for Boys, Thaman had been staying away from acting for a long time. But after a gap of nearly 20 years, the talented music director is back to acting now as he featured in a Tamil film that is getting up for release soon.

This Tamil film is titled Idhayam Murali and it has Thaman in an important role. The title teaser of the film was released earlier and it features Thaman. He looks dashing in the same as he returned to acting after a while.

Thaman is clearly excited about returning to acting after a long gap, and the same can be understood with his social media statement. While he has been primarily occupied with his music direction, commitment, it is good that he is trying something out of the ordinary as he is returning to acting now.
