Thandel Official OTT Date Locked

The movie Thandel starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi was released in theaters on February 7. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film became a massive hit, collecting over ₹100 crores at the box office. The film set against the backdrop of fishermen’s lives received a great response from the audience.

The film is inspired by a real-life incident. It revolves around 22 fishermen from Srikakulam who accidentally enter Pakistan’s waters while fishing from Gujarat’s Veraval. They are arrested and jailed in Pakistan. The movie showcases how these fishermen were eventually released and also explores the love story of Raju and Sathya.

Fans eagerly awaited Thandel’s digital release and now Netflix has officially announced that the movie will start streaming from March 7. It will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

The chemistry between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi was highly appreciated. Their performances along with the film’s emotional depth and music made Thandel a blockbuster.
