Without Srikakulam there is no Thandel - Naga Chaitanya

Thandel starring Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Sai Pallavi became a huge blockbuster and highest grosser in Naga Chaitanya's career in the first week itself. So, the makers have celebrated the success with a Thank You Meet at Srikakulam, where the story originated. Adding to the excitement, Naga Chaitanya danced with Sai Pallavi on stage and even Allu Aravind shook his leg.

Speaking at the event, Sai Pallavi thanked every fisherman from Machaleswaram, who gave their story for them to tell on big screen. She stated that she believed in the film as soon as she heard the story and thanked Producer Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind and director Chandoo Mondeti for believing in her. She further stated that it is special to share screen with Naga Chaitanya and she is happy to be part of such a great romance.

Chandoo Mondeti thanked Srikakulam people for showering them with their love. He continued to thank Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for giving him such a big blockbuster with their tremendous performances. Presenter Allu Aravind and Producer Bunny Vasu also reiterated the same. They thanked the audiences for giving such humungous love to their film.

Naga Chaitanya stated that without Srikakulam there is no Thandel and no Raju character. He dedicated all the success of the film to Macheleswaram people. He stated that after learning fishing, hunting in sea and throwing net, he got confidence to play the character. He attributed all the praises he is receiving to Srikakulam people. He concluded by mouthing lines from the movie in character, specially amongst the cheers of the people.
