Tollywood director Tharun Bhascker is currently in the news because of his comments about his upcoming movie Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi 2. The sequel is one of the most awaited films among youth audiences and expectations are already very high.

The first movie Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi became a cult favorite after its release. Even though it did not create huge box office records at that time, it slowly gained popularity because of its fresh story, realistic characters and fun comedy. Tharun Bhascker himself saw the video and replied to it in a funny but honest way. He said that he is “dying under the pressure of expectations” for ENE 2. His comment quickly went viral on social media.

Though he said it in a light tone, it clearly indicated how much pressure he is feeling. When a movie becomes a cult hit, making a sequel is not easy. The director has to meet audience expectations while also delivering something new and fresh.
