Rashmika Mandanna’s latest film The Girlfriend is proving to be a box office success as well as a powerful social statement. The film had no Monday blues, as its Day 4 collections were higher than Day 1 showing how audiences are connecting with Bhooma’s emotional journey. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film is being praised as one of the best Telugu films of the year.

The Girlfriend tells the story of Bhooma, a woman who finds the courage to free herself from a controlling and abusive relationship. Rashmika’s performance has been described as heartfelt and honest by portraying the pain and strength of a woman rediscovering herself.
