OTT Deadline Helped Paradise Or Not?

In fact, Nani’s The Paradise was supposed to hit cinemas back in March 2026 itself, but then, due to the arrival of Dhurandhar 2, Toxic and Peddi in that month, The Paradise moved out. Later, the date got shifted to August, while others like Toxic and Peddi also got postponed. Then, after missing the August date, The Paradise finally locked September 24th, but that date was not officially announced until 10 days before. Here’s a rumour being heard about this.

In fact, director Srikanth Odela is said to need more time to wrap “The Paradise” after watching the first copy, and he is in the mood to postpone the film again. However, Netflix is said to have insisted that if The Paradise misses out on the third date, ie, September 24th, they are not likely to offer the full payment agreed. For that reason, the producer is said to have insisted on locking the date and going ahead with whichever output they have in hand.

There are two things here. By following the OTT release deadline, surely a sub-standard product is out in the market now. Otherwise, they might have delivered something better. But then, even after taking a long time, if they can’t deliver a quality product, there is no guarantee that delaying further might have brought something very interesting.
