Kantara 2: Here Is the Latest Interesting Buzz

Kantara 2, the eagerly awaited prequel to the 2022 blockbuster, has wrapped up its pre-production phase and is gearing up for filming. This sequel has generated immense anticipation among fans worldwide due to its massive following across languages.

Rishab Shetty, the creative force behind the film, has meticulously crafted the story and completed pre-production tasks, signaling that the team is now set for shooting. Scheduled for a ceremonial commencement, the auspicious Pooja Muhurtam is slated for November 27th, with filming scheduled to commence the following week, starting around December 1st.

Notably, the film's timeline is set between 301 and 400 AD, serving as a prequel to its highly successful predecessor, Kantara Part 1. The production boasts an impressive budget and is expected to feature a star-studded cast.

Rishab Shetty, besides writing and directing, also portrayed the main protagonist in the original Kantara. The film initially premiered in Kannada and soon gained traction in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu, becoming a resounding success in each language.

Hombale Films, under the stewardship of Vijay Kiragandur, produced the original Kantara in 2022, an action-thriller that stormed the box office. Notably, it secured the position of the second highest-grossing Kannada film ever, following the release of K.G.F. Chapter 2 in the same year.
