Both Prabhas & Suriya Going Time Traveling!

When filmmakers write stories for big heroes, they often try to avoid any similarities with other projects. Despite all their precautions, we find a resemblance between movies. The recent talk suggests that Prabhas' upcoming flick 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Suriya's 'Kanguva' too share some similarities. Coming to 'Kalki', the movie has a time travel concept where Bhairava travels through time and reaches the future from the past. He reportedly goes from 3012 BC to 2898 AD in the movie.

'Kanguva' starts in 1678 when people were quite ruthless and wild. A warrior from that period comes to 2024 and completes his mission with the help of a research student. Both Suriya and Prabhas will be seen donning multiple getups in the movie. Despite having unique backdrops, sources say that the main theme is a bit similar. We have seen Vassishtha use the time travel concept to score a success through 'Bimbisara'.

'Kalki 2898 AD' releases before 'Kanguva'. The makers are reportedly going ahead with May 9th despite the election date. Nag Ashwin is working hard to meet the deadline. The team of 'Kanguva' did not announce the release date. Siva is directing this film and it is being made on a huge budget. Let us wait and see how both these films shape up.
