Fantasy Genre Taking Over Tollywood Completely!
Though the budgets are huge, the makers are ready to make such films as it cater to every set of audience.

Fantasy films always have a special place in the history of Indian cinema. The imaginary worlds, unique characters, grand visuals and all the adventures are a delight to watch on the big screens. Not just in Indian cinema but fantasy movies get huge reception all over the world. Though the budgets are huge, the makers are ready to make such films as it cater to every set of audience.
Coming to Telugu, there are some good fantasy films which arrived over the past few years. Movies like 'Bangarraju', 'Karthikeya 2', 'Bimbisara', 'Virupaksha', 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' and others were successful. Now, even big stars are getting ready to make movies in the fantasy genre. Chiranjeevi made a socio-fantasy movie like 'Anji' long back. No movie arrived after from Chiru from this genre but he is now working on 'Vishwambhara'. Directed by Vassishtha, UV Creations is making this movie on a grand budget. Trisha is the heroine and it is going to give a whole new visual experience as per reports.
Prabhas is coming up with 'Kalki 2898 AD' which is a science fiction film that happens in various time periods. Nag Ashwin is the director and big names like Kamal Hassan, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are playing key roles in it. Sources say that Prabhas' other film 'Raja Saab' also has a fantasy touch to it. Both these movies are going to have pan-Indian releases.
After 'Thandel', Naga Chaitanya is going to work with Karthik Dandu. Sources say that it is also going to have a lot of fantasy elements just like the director's first film 'Virupaksha'. The script work is going on right now. Chandoo Mondeti is also readying a fantasy thriller once again in the form of 'Karthikeya 3'. The first two parts were good hits.
After 'Hanu-Man', Teja Sajja is making 'Mirai' and the glimpse showcased that it is going to be a fantasy action thriller. Teja will be seen as a super Yodha in this movie. There is 'Jai Hanuman' arriving as well. It looks like the fantasy genre is the new favorite of Tollywood makers.
