One of the top-notch emotions that even some star heroes try on the silver screen is getting a tear in their eye for some scenes.

Because crying is a universal emotion that will move people, irrespective of their state of mind they are in. That’s the reason many storytellers make sure to include some scenes that will also move the audience to tears. But now, this format is getting extended to real-time, where actresses are shedding more tears than actually expected.
In recent times, Genelia cried at the Raja Shivaji trailer launch. Payal Rajput cried at his boyfriend’s movie trailer launch on Tuesday evening. A couple of months ago, Bhumika Chawla cried at the film Euphoria pre-release event. Anchor Sravanthi broke to tears recently after starring in a film, saying that her dream of becoming an actress had finally come true. Slowly and steadily, this type of crying, aka emotional breakdown, is becoming a prime part of the promotion of films. Many are wondering if more and more actresses are actually likely to get emotional on the stage, or if they are doing it intentionally to grab the attention. Either they might have developed weak hearts, or they are holding back their emotions from a long back that, upon seeing people, it’s coming out. Anyway, this turned out to be an emotional mantra.
At the same time, many of the films in which actresses have cried on the stage for various reasons haven’t actually worked out at the box office. Of course, the content inside the movie should be too good to work at the box office these days, but then, these emotional promotions are also leaving a negative impact on the moviegoers. As the audience feel that tactics are being played to grab their attention, maybe some of the good films are also not getting attention when actresses cry on the stage.
