Tollywood Must Stop That Culture First!

Telugu cinema has the habit of rolling out new films, every single weekend and as is generally the case, not every single of them is a success. At the end of the day, it must be primarily noted that the film industry has a 90% failure rate and only a handful of films tend to perform at the box office.

However, there is this some new culture in Bollywood, which is leading to more trolls and memes, which has become a topic of discussion these days.

The bad trend that is in discussion here is - the tenacity of Telugu film makers to call for success meet events right on the very day of the film’s release. This is becoming increasingly common as we are seeing more and more films, having success meet events.

Recently, a Telugu film had a rather mixed run at the box office, but the makers promoted it as 100 crore film and even held grand success meet events. But in the end, this film ended up collecting less than what was expected in many circuits across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. At the end of this film, returned the losses in 2 to 3 key market across the Telugu states.

It is becoming increasingly evident that Telugu film makers are desperate to hold success, meet events, regardless of the box office performance. This was recently observed in the case of another pan Indian film, which had a huge poster on the first day which led to severe trolls on social media.

This has become a pathetic and unnecessary trend in Tollywood, where success meet events are being held more as a formality than a reality.
