Adding to the social media, hate this film fell prey to a piracy campaign that was span around it. Just a couple of days after the release, this film was screened in local television broadcasts and was even played on private bus travels.

The piracy campaign deeply affected the film on so many levels as it continued to stutter at the box office. Dil Raju had to file multiple police complaints to arrest the culprits behind this piracy operation, and in accordance Local TV broadcaster was taken into custody for sharing the pirated version of the film in Local TV.

But in the end, Dil Raju had to take the majority of the losses incurred by Game Changer. As a result, he is unable to fully process the supreme success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.
