Gone are the days when actresses would simply work as heroines first, then get married to some businessman or rich guy to settle down. These days, almost all the heroines are not neglecting their education, and emerging as beauties with brains. While some are doing business after they earn huge fame and money, some are studying and earning degrees even before they get massive fame.

Other day, starlet Sreeleela acquired the much-awaited MBBS degree at the convocation ceremony of her college in Bengaluru. Being such a busy starlet, it’s tough to actually fulfill the requirements of an MBBS degree because one needs to do practical work at big government hospitals to finish their degree. Sreeleela has attended the hospital, of course, in a mask, and finished the course in distinction.

Even another heroine, Meenakshi Chaudhary, also completed her dental degree, BDS, while doing films. Before that, she proved her mettle as an athlete too, with medals in Swimming and Badminton at State Level sports summits. Another starlet Sai Pallavi, has gone to Georgia to do her MBBS and is a certified doctor, though she might need to qualify in more exams in India in order to practice here as a doctor. Even senior hero Rajasekhar’s daughter Sivani also completed her MBBS degree.

If we look at other starlets, Balagam fame Kavya Kalyanram studied law at Symbiosis, Pune, while MAD movie fame Sri Gowri Priya completed Mass Communication to start her own digital marketing company. Kriti Shetty is also completing a degree in Psychology, and is learning music as well as digital marketing to start her own business.

Despite their busy schedules, some of these heroines are managing studies too, unlike in the olden times, when the likes of Alia Bhatt didn’t study beyond 12th class.
