By: Shanaz B Syed | 19 Feb 2026 6:04 PM ISTAfter the super success of the Sankranthi holiday season, where the likes of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu and other movies had provided blasting entertainment, Tollywood is yet to see other films working out. In February alone, almost a dozen movies, including the likes of Euphoria, Funky and Couple Friendly, have been released, but have seen only moderate to below-average success.
This weekend, it will start with two films, Suhaas’ Hey Balwanth and Shiva Kandukuri’s Nawab Cafe, which are releasing on Feb 20th. While Suhaas is banking on the viral promotions they are doing in the name of the hero father’s unknown business inside the movie, Shiva Kandukuri is banking on the film’s content. After undergoing a title change from Chaiwala to Nawab Cafe, the film’s trailer has caught the attention of many. Dealing with the story of a brat and how he turns into a responsible guy, Nawab Cafe is promising some reality vibes.
As Suhaas’ previous movies tanked at the box office, there were low expectations for Hey Balwanth. However, with films like Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana winning applause on OTT, Shiva Kanduri is carrying positive buzz for his Nawab Cafe. Now that February hasn’t seen big hits so far, these two films should do the needful to score big.
