Tollywood has been on a roll with its record-breaking box office performances, and the first-day collections of movies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are a testament to the industry's soaring popularity. The recent release of Adipurush has once again sparked excitement among fans, but let's take a closer look at the films that have secured the highest first-day openings in these Telugu states.

At the top of the list is Rajamouli's magnum opus, RRR. This multi-starrer spectacle amassed a staggering 74 crore share collections on its opening day, leaving everyone astonished. Following closely behind is the epic conclusion of the Baahubali saga, Baahubali 2, which set the box office on fire with 43 crores in its initial run.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy also made a remarkable impact, raking in a gross collection of 38.5 crores in AP Nizam alone. Prabhas, the darling of Tollywood, made his mark with two films in this esteemed list.

His action-packed extravaganza, Saaho, garnered an impressive 36.52 crores on its first day, despite mixed reviews. Additionally, his recent release, Adipurush, despite facing initial criticism, managed to secure a commendable share collection of 32.84 crores across both Telugu states.

Mahesh Babu, another powerhouse in the industry, left his mark with 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', directed by Parashuram, which generated a solid 36 crores in AP Telangana on its opening day. Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, standing at the 9th position, collected 32 crores despite facing challenges in certain areas. Jr NTR's action-drama Aravinda Sametha continues to hold its ground at 10th place, earning a share collection of 26.64 crores in both Telugu states on day one.
