Release dates have always been an issue for filmmakers. Every producer wants his movie to be released during the festival times in order to get huge revenue. This is leading to a huge competition for the same date while some good release dates are not being considered at all. Also, not many filmmakers are keeping a target in terms of the release dates. They are not capitalising on free dates and which is leaving the room open for dubbing films to get maximum revenue.

None of the Telugu filmmakers cared to release their movie on Ganesh Chaturthi festival weekend. It is Vishal's 'Mark Antony' team who used to their own benefit and made good money along with 'Jawan' which was released the previous week. While the Dasara season is occupied with big films like 'Bhagavanth Kesari' and 'Tiger Nageswar Rao', it is great but another crazy dubbing flick like 'Leo' is releasing during the same time.

But what's more interesting is the fact that there are no big releases during the Diwali season. It is quite shocking as the only Telugu release during this period is Vaisshnav Tej's 'Adikeshava'. It is coming on November 10th but there is not a lot of buzz on the movie. But there are two interesting Tamil projects arriving at the same time. While Karthi is arriving with 'Japan', Lawrence and SJ Suryah are releasing 'Jigarthanda 2'. Karthi has a very good following in Telugu and both these films offer something unique and interesting. Also, Chiyaan Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' which was posted many times over the past 4-5 years is also arriving during the Diwali season.

On top of everything, Salman Khan will be releasing his 'Tiger 3' during the same time period. The craze for Hindi big movies has increased after SRK's 'Jawan'. Vaisshnav Tej is really going to have a tough time competing with all these movies. While all other industries are going big during the Diwali season, the lack of planning from the Telugu makers is certainly creating a lot of trouble for themselves.
