While there were hints about the audience becoming more interested in content-oriented films earlier, things became quite clear after the pandemic. The movie lovers are no longer interested in mediocre movies even though it has big stars in it. They are looking for quality content that will grab their interest or make them awestruck. Films with poor content are not even getting encouraged in OTT platforms which explains a lot of about the change in behavior.

Observing this, the big production houses have also shifted their focus towards content-oriented films. Whilst they are not leaving big-budget films with star heroes, they are floating another production company and bankrolling medium-range films with good content. They are picking up versatile scripts and working with young heroes too. While the main banners are confined to big films, it is the sister companies that are producing movies on a regular basis.

Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner is producing a lot of big-budget movies and family entertainers while Dil Raju productions has been started recently in order to come up with new and interesting movies with controlled budgets. Renowned banner Vyjayanthi Movies banner has been in the industry for the past 3 decades and made some of the biggest hits while 'Swapna Cinema' is giving more importance to content-based movies like 'Mahanati', 'Jathi Ratnalu', 'Sita Ramam', 'Evade Subramanyam' and others. High-budget sci-fi drama 'Kalki 2898 AD' is being produced under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

Geetha Arts is known for bankrolling movies with big names. Lately, we are seeing more movies come out from 'GA2 Pictures' banner with Bunny Vas as the producer. Geetha Arts is making only big movies like 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo', 'Thandel', 'Ramayan' and Boyapati's upcoming movie while 'GA2 Pictures' banner is coming up with a lot of interesting content with young actors.

The same is the case with UV Creations banner who recently started V Celluloid. While 'Haarika & Hassine Creations' produces big movies under Trivikram's direction, Sitara Entertainments comes up with movies like 'Tillu', 'Tillu Sqaure', 'MAD', 'Jersey', 'Butta Bomma' and many more. It looks like the producers are also giving more importance to content rather than going by big names alone.
