There used to be a lot of hurdles for filmmakers while searching for a heroine. It is no longer a problem these days but the makers have got a new headache. Finding beauties for item songs is becoming a huge task.

Due to the pan-Indian market, big films need familiar faces in special songs. Previously, foreign dancers or item song specialists like Mumaith Khan used to be the first priority. But pan-Indian films need heroines with a huge craze for doing item songs. We saw Samantha doing 'Oo Antava' song in 'Pushpa'. We all knew how much of a rage it became among the public. The song became an international hit.

Now, Sukumar & Co are unable to find the right beauty to dance beside Bunny in 'Pushpa 2'. The second part is being made on a grander scale and the business is also quite high compared to the first part. The team needs to bring in a big name for the item song. Regular beauties who do item songs will not satisfy the audience. They need an actress who never did such special songs before. This is why the team is searching a lot for the right person.

Reportedly, there is a superb special song in Prabhas and Maruthi's 'Raja Saab'. The recording of the track is completed but the shooting is not done as the team is unable to decide who the special beauty should be.
