Well, all the nightmares and rumours that are doing the rounds everywhere have finally come true, with hero Yash himself making it official that “Toxic” is not arriving in theatres on June 4th. The KGF star has clarified that, due to the movie's global reach, he wants the film to reach a larger audience, and hence they have decided to postpone the release. This is the second time “Toxic” has missed its release date after moving out of the March 19th release.

Yash officially said in a statement, “Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date”

“Toxic will come to theatres across the world soon,” he further added. “As an actor-producer, I see this moment as an opportunity to do my part for the Indian film industry and for all of us by taking the time to ensure our film reaches the world with the impact it is meant to have”, he further said, adding that some stories ask for patience while some journeys demand it.

Whatever may be the official statement, the idea of “Toxic” missing out June 4th, leaving the whole Summer blank after disturbing the release dates of other movies, including Ram Charan’s Peddi, is not going to leave a good taste in the mouths of film connoisseurs. Though Yash has reassured that Toxic is already complete, many are wondering why the film has missed out on a good 3 months already, and is now talking about a later date, without even any clarity.
