Biopics are not easy to make, especially when they are based on famous personalities. Actors must not only look like the real people but also bring their emotions, body language, and life stories to the screen. Now actress Trisha is reportedly being considered to play former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in an upcoming biopic on MGR.

For the current generation, the first film that comes to mind when talking about a successful biopic is Mahanati. Keerthy Suresh played legendary actress Savitri in the film and impressed audiences with her performance. She did not simply look like Savitri. She brought the legendary actress's emotions and struggles to life. Even after several biopics were released, very few managed to create the same impact as Mahanati.

This is why playing a famous personality has become a big challenge for actors. The audience expects more than just a similar appearance. They want to see the original person's personality and journey on the screen.

Jayalalithaa's life is also an interesting subject for a biopic. She started her career as an actress and later became one of the most powerful political leaders in Tamil Nadu. Her association with legendary actor and politician MGR was also an important part of her life. Her journey from cinema to politics offers many interesting moments for filmmakers.

However, bringing Jayalalithaa's story to the screen has not been easy. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut played the former Chief Minister in Thalaivii. Despite the attention surrounding the project, the film did not achieve the expected success at the box office. Ramya Krishnan also portrayed Jayalalithaa in a television series and received attention for her performance.

Now, reports suggest that Trisha may play Jayalalithaa in the upcoming MGR biopic, titled Puratchi Thalaivar MGR. However, the makers have not officially confirmed her casting.

If Trisha accepts the role, she will face a major challenge. She must convince audiences that she can portray a powerful personality like Jayalalithaa. Her performance will also be compared with those of Kangana Ranaut and Ramya Krishnan.

Can Trisha create the same magic that Keerthy Suresh created with Mahanati is the biggest question and also the real test will begin when the film reaches the audience.
