Fans Waited For 20 Years, This Is Not Enough

Trivikram’s writing, Vijay Bhaskar’s direction and Family star Venkatesh. The combination is so stunning that the likes of Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav and Malleswari have become so iconic that today most of the meme templates are from these movies only. And nearly two decades later, Trivikram and Venkatesh have joined hands for the first time as director and hero. But then, the dosage is not satisfying the fans.

With just 12 days left until the release of “Adarsha Kutumbam” aka #AK47, there’s no hype around the movie. The character introduction videos, teaser and the Narayanamma song that was released the other day haven’t generated any hype. Neither the whimsical dialogues, nor the music scored by Thaman, nor the film’s title and the whole setup- nothing has excited fans big time. Many are wondering why this most-awaited combo is delivering pretty average content.

As the movie got shifted from October 2nd to October 9th, the makers should now aggressively promote the film, releasing almost all the songs and then giving away the trailer that would give superior attention to the movie. These days, only hype sells Day 1 and Day 2 rather than actual content, and that’s what The Paradise, Toxic and other films proved. So Trivikram and Venky should focus on bringing that first to their project.
