TRP Disaster Strikes Hi Nanna Show
'Hi Nanna''s recent television premiere proved disastrous. The film only managed a meagre 4.45 TRP in urban areas and a slightly lower 4.06 TRP

Touching scenes even went viral, with audiences leaving theaters emotional. However, this magic seems to have fizzled out on the small screen.
Interestingly, the movie saw a significant boost in popularity after its OTT release on Netflix. It quickly climbed the platform's Top Films list, captivating viewers who missed it in theaters.
However, the good news ends there. 'Hi Nanna''s recent television premiere proved disastrous. The film only managed a meagre 4.45 TRP in urban areas and a slightly lower 4.06 TRP when combining urban and rural viewership. These numbers are particularly disappointing for Nani, known for his strong connection with family audiences. A film centered around family themes failing to resonate on television is indeed surprising.
Several factors might have contributed to this disconnect. Negative reviews and lukewarm word-of-mouth during the theatrical release could have discouraged viewers from tuning in. Regardless of the reason, "Hi Nanna"'s underwhelming performance on television serves as a reminder that theatrical success doesn't always translate to strong TRPs.
Nani currently focuses on his upcoming film "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram" under DVV Creations. Hopefully, this project will fare better across all platforms.
