Nandu Ugly Story Has Weird Title Initially

The Upcoming Telugu movie Ugly Story is creating good buzz before its release on May 22. The film stars Nandu and Avika Gor in lead roles. Recently, director Pranav Swaroop made interesting comments during promotions, and his words are now going viral on social media.

The director revealed that the team first planned a bold title for the movie. He said they originally wanted to name the film “Gandu.” However, the Film Association reportedly did not agree to register that title. Because of this issue, the makers later changed the title to Ugly Story.

Pranav Swaroop explained that even though the original title was different, the story and emotions of the movie remained the same. He added that Ugly Story perfectly suits the film’s fresh and unusual love story.

The movie is being produced under the Riya Jiya Productions banner by Subhashini and Konda Lakshman. The film also features Raviteja Mahadasyam, Shivaji Raja, and Pragnya Nayan in important roles. Music for the film is composed by Shravan Bharadwaj, while Sri Saikumar Dara handled cinematography.

As part of the promotions, popular director V. V. Vinayak watched the trailer and appreciated the team. Vinayak said that Ugly Story looks like a fresh love entertainer and wished the movie becomes a big success. He also said he hopes the film gives a strong breakthrough to Nandu.

Actor Nandu thanked Vinayak for his support and blessings. He said the entire team worked very hard on the project and hopes audiences will support the movie in theatres.
