While her husband Ram Charan finds peace in praying to Ayyappa Swami, Upasana said that her heart has always been with Sai Baba. This belief came from her childhood, watching her grandparents and parents have strong faith, especially during tough times. That left a strong mark on her.
She shared that there was a time in her life when she felt lost and confused. A close person told her to try doing the Sai Baba Vrat. Without thinking too much, she started it and also began reading Sai Baba’s stories and teachings. Slowly, she felt her mind becoming more peaceful and her mood getting better. The change was not very big or fast, but it was real. She felt stronger from within and was able to deal with life more confidently.
That one small step, starting the Vrat, gave her a lot of strength and support.
It gave her hope and support, especially when everything around her felt difficult and unsure. She said she became more aware, more patient, and a little more hopeful. It didn’t change her world overnight, but it changed how she moved through it.
Now, with Guru Purnima around the corner on July 10, Upasana plans to start a fresh 9-week Sai Baba Vrat and has invited others to join her. She knows that many people are going through rough patches and believes something as simple as a weekly Vrat can help bring clarity. Her message wasn’t dramatic, just honest. If something gives you peace, she said, maybe it’s worth giving it a chance.
