by not even collecting ₹100 crores in the recent times, it is doing some talking on the OTT platform. Guess what, none of them is actually noticing that.

While the film ended up as the first ever blemish on Pawan’s box office potential in the recent times, by not even collecting ₹100 crores in the recent times, it is doing some talking on the OTT platform. Guess what, none of them is actually noticing that.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is on Netflix, trending at #3, in the Top 10 Movies List watched in India with more than 3 million views and huge watchtime. For any film, that’s a solid digital performance. However, Telugu Twitter is not even discussing this. That’s the strange case of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, who happens to be a Pawan Kalyan starrer. This is a film directed by Harish Shankar, a combination that once delivered Gabbar Singh. Naturally, expectations were high. The film, however, had a mixed theatrical run. Openings were strong, driven by Pawan Kalyan’s fan base, but the momentum didn’t sustain. The overall box office ended up in the average-to-below range, more shockingly, collecting below ₹100 crores, a feat that’s rare for Pawan Kalyan in recent times.
People are clearly watching the film. The numbers prove that. But they are not talking about it, sharing no viral clips, and putting up trending debates. There are no strong fan wars either. Many think that this is because of Harish Shankar, who has already done huge damage with his kind of promotions during the release times. Except for a couple of pictures of Raashi Khanna, nothing from Ustaad is actually being shared on the net.
Also, some are thinking that if Harish Shankar has approached some copyright enforcement gangs to take care of his online reputation, they are making sure to delete every post that fans put up.
