The film is not even likely to collect $1 million at the North American box office which is a humiliating result.
Ustad Bhagat Singh, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer, tells a different story altogether, collecting just $1K on the same day for a dismal cumulative of $793K, making it virtually certain the film will close well short of the $1 million mark in North America, a humiliating outcome for a major Telugu release.
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its record-breaking run in North America, adding $356K on Tuesday to push its cumulative total to $23.13 million, cementing its status as the highest-grossing Indian film ever in the region.
The Ranveer Singh spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, dethroned Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had held the record since 2017 with $20.80 million, achieving the feat in just ten days.
Band Melam remains an afterthought at $25K total. Among Tamil releases, the youth film picked up $1.3K for a running total of $125.5K.
The contrast between Dhurandhar 2 and the rest of the field could not be sharper, with the Bollywood blockbuster single-handedly rewriting the record books while the Telugu camp grapples with one of its most underwhelming North American showings in recent memory.
