Vakkantham Vamsi, once a celebrated star writer known for penning hit films, transitioned into directing with Allu Arjun's "Na Peru Surya," which unfortunately turned out to be a box-office disappointment. The star writer started his career as an actor, television presenter, and then as a writer. His collaborations with director Surender Reddy have been highly successful in the past.

In an attempt at a comeback, Vamsi recently helmed his second film, "Extra Ordinary Man," featuring Nithin. Regrettably, the comedy caper has met a similar fate at the box office, marking Vakkantam Vamsi's second consecutive flop.
