Popularly known as SSMB29 and tentatively titled Varanasi, the film’s expectations are rising day by day. The latest shooting schedule has begun in Hyderabad, where the makers have erected a huge set inspired by the holy city of Kashi (Varanasi).
According to reports, the production team has recreated the famous ghats and temple surroundings of Varanasi on a grand scale. This massive set has already grabbed attention on social media after leaked pictures went viral. Though the makers have not officially confirmed the images, fans believe they are from the current schedule of the film.
The team has already completed important scenes featuring Mahesh Babu and Prakash Raj. Now, the focus has shifted completely to high-voltage action sequences. These action scenes are said to be crucial to the story and are being shot with tight security to avoid further leaks.
This schedule comes after the team wrapped up portions of filming in Odisha. Sources suggest that the Hyderabad schedule will continue for several weeks, as multiple large-scale scenes are planned on the Kashi set. Rajamouli is known for his detailed planning, and this film is expected to raise the bar once again in terms of visuals and storytelling.
Prithviraj Sukumaran who is rumored to play a key role recently hinted about joining the shoot through a social media post. Actress Priyanka Chopra is also expected to be seen in a powerful role, though official details are still awaited.
