What Is Varanasi Core Plot? How Many Parts?

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli are currently collaborating for Varanasi, which happens to be one of the costliest projects in the history of Indian cinema by a comfortable margin. Now he has started to promote the film at global film events.

In this context, Rajamouli took part in a foreign film event, and he categorically confirmed that Varanasi will essentially be the story of a father and son while having an emotionally strong core.

It appears that Prakash Raj and Mahesh Babu, who will be seen as father and son in this film will maintain the emotional core of the entire film. Considering the immense potential that this father and son relationship has to offer, it has to be seen where the potential of this film would eventually end up.

This was followed by another interesting confirmation from Rajamouli, as he said Varanasi is going to be a single part film, and there will be no subsequent franchise development as of now.

This film is currently in the production stage, and we have to patiently wait and see if Rajamouli would actually be able to deliver the film in theatre by next April. If this is to happen, then the entire shooting will have to be completed by the end of 2026, and this is going to be the biggest challenge for Rajamouli now.
