It’s very rare to see a married couple in the film industry doing lip locks on the silver screen, though they might have done it before marriage, for the silver screen. But the other day, Happy Days fame hero Varun Sandesh and his former-heroine wife Vithika Sheru threw a big surprise ahead of the Sankranthi festival.

After a long gap of 11 years, both Varun Sandesh and Vithika, who have earlier starred in the 2015 film Paddamandi Premalo Mari, have revealed that they are coming together with a new movie. Titled “Dear Astronaut” this film has both the hero and heroine in a standing pose, locking lips. That was a sort of surprise, because a lot has changed in this decade and a mere lip-lock will not surely make headlines.

However, what got attention for this project is that Varun and Vithika are currently in different phases in their careers. While none of Varun Sandesh’s movies are working at the box office, Vithika has become a YouTuber with her channel focusing on lifestyle vlogs. At this juncture, both joining hands have raised eyebrows now.

On the other hand, with all the buzz around them for Dear Astronaut, fans of Varun Sandesh are hoping that they will be making a name for themselves with the film. After their 2015 film, the couple fell in love and got married, and even went to the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show together.
