Director Venky Atluri is currently enjoying a strong phase in his career. His latest film Viswanath and Sons has received a very good response from the audience and has become a successful film. The success has given Venky more confidence and has also increased interest in his future projects.

Venky Atluri is also slowly building a different image in Indian cinema. Instead of working only with Telugu heroes, he has been exploring stories with actors from other languages. He previously worked with Tamil star Dhanush and Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan. He is now also associated with a project featuring Tamil star Suriya. This shows that Venky is looking beyond the Telugu film industry.

There has also been talk about Venky Atluri working with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Fans would naturally be excited about such a combination because Chiranjeevi is one of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema. However, Venky himself has now explained why he is not rushing to make that film.

Speaking in a recent interview, Venky said that a film with Chiranjeevi was discussed, but he does not want to do it immediately. According to him, directing a star of Chiranjeevi's level comes with a lot of responsibility.

Venky believes that everything has to be planned properly when making a movie with such a big star. More importantly, he feels that he needs to grow a little more as a filmmaker before handling the subject he has in mind with Chiranjeevi.

This statement shows a lot of maturity from the young director. Many filmmakers would be excited to get an opportunity to direct a star like Chiranjeevi and might immediately move forward. But Venky appears to be thinking about the quality of the film and his own preparation first.

His recent successes have clearly given him a better position in the industry. At the same time, he seems to understand that directing a major star requires more than just a good story. The scale, expectations, character, presentation and commercial elements all need to be handled carefully.
