Why is Director struggling even after blockbuster?

The cinema industry primarily runs on the crucial factors which are success and fame. This is increasingly evident if you look at the fact that several directors have been able to learn multiple projects back to back after delivering successful films.

But in the case of talented film maker, Venu, who had made his debut with Balagam, which turned out to be a blockbuster, the exact opposite is happening.

After the tremendous success of Balagam, it is strange to see Venu still struggling to materialise his second film, which happens to be Yellamma. This film originally was supposed to happen with Hero Nani and later went to Nithiin. However, there was a lot of confusion here as well, considering the delay in the project.

It was established that the likes of Bellamkonda Srinivas were also considered. And in the end, it is now being established that this film is going to happen with music, Director Devi Sri Prasad, who is going to debut as a male lead in this film.

This project was in the production stage for a really long time now, and it is finally happening with DSP, which was unexpected in the first place. But nevertheless it is good to see that it is finally happening.

Usually, when a director delivers a successful film, he is flooded with cinema opportunities for his second film, but in the case of Venu, the exact opposite is happening as he is still struggling to take his second project down to the floors.
