Balagam Director Shares Temple Pics, Gets Trolled

Recently, when the first glimpse and title of “Balagam” fame director Venu Yeldandi’s next film “Yellamma” got revealed, everyone praised the director big time. His banter with the film’s hero and composer, Devi Sri Prasad, on social media won further attention. But then, the very same social media should be cruel to him, too.

The acclaimed director of Balagam has today shared his pictures on X.com, as he poses from a temple location somewhere in the state of Telangana. However, as he wore shoes, many are trolling him big time now, asking how he could climb on the top of a temple with shoes. Though he might have made a National Award-winning film featuring Telangana culture, respecting religion is essential, as they say.

However, with the film’s shooting going on, electrical cables will be laid on the floor, and hence, for safety reasons, he might have worn the shoes, felt cinema industry folks. Although we can say that the temple’s sanctity is compromised in such cases, likely, the Balagam director should not have shared these pictures.

Featuring Devi Sri Prasad in the lead, directed by Venu Yeldandi, Yellamma is bankrolled by Dil Raju. According to reports, the film is being made on a lavish budget.
