The trend of bringing back veteran heroines on big screens started with Attarintiki Daaredi when Trivikram brought back senior actress Nadhiya for a crucial role in the film. Ever since then this trend caught up wildly, and it is one of the most prevalent occurrences in the film industry now.

Once upon a time, they were the shining stars of Telugu cinema, popular heroes and heroines with many hit films. But now, many of them are returning to the big screen in new roles, not as lead actors, but as character artists. This trend is becoming common in the industry.

Actors like Rajendra Prasad, who once played lead roles in many comedy films, is now seen in father or mentor roles. Naresh, another former hero, is also playing key supporting roles in many recent films. Similarly, veteran heroines like Jayasudha, Nadhiya, Khushbu, and Vijayashanthi are now being cast as mothers, aunts, or strong supporting characters.

Actor Suman, once a romantic and action hero, is now playing elder roles or powerful characters. These artists are proving that age is not a barrier to acting. They are showing their experience and talent through mature and emotional roles.

Audiences are also happy to see these familiar faces again, even if not in lead roles. Their presence brings a sense of nostalgia and respect. These actors are now enjoying a second innings in the film industry and continuing to win hearts in a different way.
