Featuring veteran star Rao Ramesh in the lead role, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is up for release on the 23rd of this month. As a part of the promotions, the director of the film, Lakshman Karya dropped a set of updates.

Lakshman revealed that he had a lot to learn from his first film Happy Wedding and he used this experience to make Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam.

About the main idea of Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, Lakshman said "I once got 80K rs credited in my account and I was puzzled about who deposited the money. I enquired many people about how the money credited in my account. It was a funny situation. That's what formed the core plot of our film."

When asked how Tabitha Sukumar came on board for the film, Lakshman said "My wife and Tabitha happened to meet through a mutual friend and Tabitha garu got to know about my film. She encouraged us and eventually came onboard as the presenter. Sukumar garu also watched the film and complemented us".

About the Allu Arjun connection in the film "Ankit Koyya plays Rao Ramesh garu's son and he dreams of a having a big and wealthy family. This is close to Allu Arjun garu's role in Ala Vaikunthapurramulo. He is always of the feeling that he is Allu Aravind garu's son. This is why we had Allu family connect in the film."

The talented director said Rao Ramesh is an absolute revelation and he took the film to a whole new level altogether. "This film will have the best father-son track among all recent releases."

Mythri Movie Makers are releasing the film in the Telugu states while Tabitha Sukumar is presenting it. The film is directed by Lakshman Karya and produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics banner.
