Vicky Kaushal’s historical action drama Chhaava which was a blockbuster in Hindi is minting big moneys in Telugu as well. The movie which was opened to impressive opening, has saw growth in footfalls on day two.

By day two, the movie’s earnings outpaced its opening day numbers, a clear indication of its increasing popularity. On BookMyShow, sales jumped from 57K+ tickets on day one to 69K+ tickets on day two. Chhaava collected 6.81 Cr gross, and is likely to cross 10 Cr mark by Sunday, with bookings trending positively.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava was released through Geetha Film Distributors. With no major competition this week, the film is expected to perform strongly during the weekdays as well, thanks to the positive response and enthusiastic reports from audiences in the Telugu states.
