Petition Filed To Halt Chhaava Telugu Release

Vicky Kaushal’s historical action film Chhaava is set to release in Telugu tomorrow, distributed by Geetha Film Distributors.

Despite the excitement surrounding its release, the film has faced significant opposition. Mohammad Ziaul Haque, the President of the Muslim Federation of Andhra Pradesh, has raised concerns over the movie's content.

Ziaul Haque has formally petitioned the Nellore District Collector, urging the authorities to prevent the film's release in the Telugu states.

His petition expresses apprehensions regarding potential negative implications for the Muslim community.

This is not the first time Chhaava has faced such opposition. The film's Hindi release was similarly met with criticism, leading to debates and protests from different groups.

However, despite these challenges, close observers suggest that the Telugu release is expected to proceed smoothly, without significant hindrances.

The film was directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner.
