#ISupportLiger Trends On Twitter Against Boycott Calls!

The team of 'Liger' who put their heart and soul into the film and made it ready for release on 25th August were surprised to see Boycott calls against their film. The makers are promoting this film aggressively all over the country and it is in no way related to any kind of ideology. It is a complete action flick loaded with commercial elements in Puri Jagannadh style.

But the '#BoycottLiger' hashtag trended on Twitter which surprised many and hating a film just because Karan Johar is presenting it doesn't make any sense. The boycott trend is catching up in Tollywood. 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan' fell pray to the same in North India recently. There is a widespread opinion that this trend isn't a healthy one.

Now, a similar negative spell is being casted on Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' as there is a boycott narrative surrounding the same. But fans of the Rowdy hero came up with a perfect and fitting response. In support of 'Liger', trends '#UnstoppableLiger' and '#ISupportLiger' are trending big time in Bollywood.

There is a talk that it is not correct to spread a negative narrative while thousands of families are dependent on the film industry. A few people are even questioning of these trends aimed at the film are because of Karan Johar or because of sheer envy for a self made star like Vijay Deverakonda. The 'Arjun Reddy' hero himself took to Twitter and wrote, "Manam Correct unnapudu, Mana Dharmam manam chesinapudu, Evvadi maata vinedhe ledu. Kotladudham."

As we know, 'Liger' is coming out in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale. Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, the cast of 'Liger' includes Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and others. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor for 'Liger' which is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ananya Pandey is the heroine in this film.
