And the latest victim is none other than Vidya Balan, the talented Bollywood actress.

Other day, Vidya Balan filed a case against an unknown person for creating a fake Instagram account in her name. The fake account reportedly contacted people associated with the film industry, posing as Vidya Balan and promising them jobs in exchange for money.

According to sources, the account was a replica of her official Instagram page, including a similar username and profile picture. The impostor then used the account to contact filmmakers, producers, and other industry professionals, claiming to be Viday Balan and offering them acting opportunities in upcoming projects. In exchange for

securing these roles, the impostor allegedly demanded money from the individuals they contacted.

The actress became aware of the fake account and its activities,prompting her to take immediate action. She filed an FIR at the Khar Police Station in Mumbai under Section 66C of the Information Technology Act, which deals with identity theft and impersonation. The police have registered the complaint and are currently investigating the matter.
