Director Vignesh Shivan recently took to social media to share his feelings after his film Love Insurance Kompany, starring Nayanthara, could not make it to the Diwali release schedule. While many expected disappointment, the filmmaker instead shared a message filled with gratitude and positivity.

Marking the 10th anniversary of his 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan—which starred Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara—Vignesh reflected on how life’s blessings often come in unexpected forms. Posting a few pictures from his Diwali celebration with Nayanthara, Chiranjeevi, his children, and Rana Daggubati, he wrote, “Ten years of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan today October 21st 2015 :) ❤️ A life blessed with a lot of miracles started from this lovely day… I had dreamt of this day so differently — a day when Love Insurance Kompany would have reached all your hearts. But life, in its quiet wisdom, taught me something far more beautiful today. Even without the big moment, I find myself smiling — truly, peacefully.”

In his post, Vignesh spoke about how happiness is not tied to success but to the simple joys of life. “We chase milestones thinking they’ll only make us happy. But happiness is not such a tough destination! If you keep the rules for it simple and silly :) It can be a gentle pause from everything else that kept you busy,” he added.

He also mentioned how real happiness lies in small moments of love and togetherness — “A warm hug from your loving wife, the innocent laughter from your babies, your family and friends’ unconditional love... all these are as good as the big wins we save our happiness for.”

Vignesh and Nayanthara celebrated Diwali in Hyderabad with stars like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, and Sreeleela. Sharing his closing thoughts, the director wrote, “A heart that feels grateful, even when things don’t go as planned, is the heart that’s blessed... Life is beautiful. God is great. ❤️”
