By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Aug 2025 6:39 PM ISTIt is already known that talented young hero Vijay Devarakonda returned to the big screens with his recent film Kingdom, which released in theatres on July 31. The film was a moderate success at the box office, and it was appreciated for the elaborate production values.
However, there were several complaints about the editing of the film, as many felt that the climax was rushed, and there was not enough flow in the second half of the film.
Coming to the topic now, it is being established that this action entertainer would be streaming on Netflix from August 27, which is roughly 4 weeks from the theatrical release, which is a standard procedure these days.
Considering the fact that there were several complaints about the editing in the theatrical version of the film, it really has to be seen if the OTT version is going to be any different from the same.
Fans had been requesting the director of the film Gowtam to make sure that the director’s version will be streaming on Netflix so that they can experience the film the way it was intended to be in the first place. There are several social media posts in this regard that are training on Twitter as well.
However, releasing extended cuts on Netflix has not been the case with many Indian films, historically, so we can’t expect any miracle from Kingdom, this time around as well. The chances are that the critical version itself might also be streaming on Netflix, henceforth.
