Did Vijay Deverakonda Comeback With Kingdom?

Telugu cinema witnessed another big film in the form of Kingdom, which released in theatres on July 31. The film opened on a decent note at the box office, but registered the drops over the next couple of days and is likely to have a decent weekend in general.

Apart from the revenues that are being generated over the weekend, it must be a crucial point to note that whether or not this film would be considered a comeback for Vijay.

Vijay had a decent hit with his previous film Khushi, it wasn’t of his caliber. Then Family Star was way and acknowledged bad film from Vijay, which he himself regrets doing at this point in time.

So the success of Kingdom comes at a reasonably good time for the young and talented actor, but it might not necessarily be declared as a proper comeback for him.

This film has a lot of detailing and precision filmmaking, which is a good thing. But in terms of commercial me and the kind of anticipation that was riding on it, it needs to be set that Vijay needs to deliver a bit more.

Vijay is one of the most prospective youngsters in Telugu cinema, and he is projected to be the next big thing here. So the expectations are always going to be high on his upcoming films. The responsibility is to deliver consistently good films with more commercial appeal.

But what is for certain is that this Kingdom might be considered as a decent respite for him as the quality and the presentation values are right up there. But when it comes to the commercial delivery, a bit more expected from Vijay SS box office potential is yet to be fully explored.
