Tier 2 BO: Where Is Kingdom Ranking?

It is already known that Vijay Deverakonda returned to big screens with Kingdom. The film released in theatres on July 31 and it’s running successfully in theatres now. The film is now on a strong numerical run at the ticket counters.

Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film Kingdom had a strong start at the North American box office, earning around $1.25 million on Day 1. This includes $933K from premieres and about $275K from regular shows, making it the actor’s biggest opening in the US to date.

In India, Kingdom was released on July 31, 2025, and collected over ₹15.50 crore nett on its first day in Telugu states. While it surpassed the openings of his previous films like Kushi and The Family Star, it fell just short of Liger, which had a ₹15.95 crore opening. The film opened to high expectations.

In terms of tier 2 calculations, the film is performing in the third best capacity as it’s behind HIT 3 and Dasara in this slot.

While Dasara and HIT 3 have 34 and 35 crore respectively at the box office, Kingdom fell short by collecting Rs 33 crore at the box office. It can be noted that Nani is just marginally ahead of Vijay in this matter.

But the crucial differences here is that Kingdom had a working day release but still managed to post these revenues. This is a positive sign for the film and the doubt is whether it would be holding over the weekend.
