Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom Gets Pricey Surprise Before Release Day in AP

Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Kingdom is releasing on July 31. Just before its release, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a special price hike for the movie tickets. This news has created a buzz among fans and theatre owners.

According to the order, single screens can increase the ticket price by ₹50, and multiplexes can charge an ₹75 extra. This increase will be allowed only for the first 10 days. Earlier, movies like Kuberaa, Kannappa, and HIT: The Third Case also got similar permission.

Vijay, who was recently down with dengue, has now recovered. He is expected to start promotions for Kingdom soon. Reports say he might appear in a chat session with director Gowtam Tinnanuri and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga before the release.

Kingdom is a spy action film set during the Sinhala-Tamil conflict after India’s Independence. It also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. The makers have confirmed that the story will continue in a second part. The success of this film could decide what happens next.
