The actor has raised concerns about fake accounts by misleading content and the misuse of his identity on social media. At the Ranabaali event on Thursday, Vijay reportedly spoke about people creating fake accounts to damage his image. He expressed concern about the way false information is being spread about him. Meanwhile actor has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights.

According to reports, Vijay wants protection against the unauthorised use of his name, photographs and other personal details. His plea also raises concerns about fake endorsements, impersonation, AI generated content and the sale of products using his identity without permission.

The Delhi High Court has issued notices in the case. But the court has not yet announced a final decision on the relief requested by the actor. The next hearing is scheduled for February 2, 2027.
