Vijay's Ranabaali Follows RRR British Formula

Next week on October 16th, coinciding with the Dasara holidays, Vijay Devarkaonda’s Ranabaali movie is hitting cinemas. The film is directed by Shyam Singha Roy fame Rahul Sankrityan and also features the hero’s wife Rashmika Mandanna, as the leading lady. That’s bringing lots of excitement to the movie. Here’s an interesting detail.

Going by the teaser, one could also see that all the British characters in the movie are actually speaking only in English, but not in the dubbed Telugu language. Back then, during the times of movies like Alluri Sitarama Raju, many English characters are seen speaking in Telugu. However, in RRR, Rajamouli has showcased that none of the British characters speaks in a local language. Even for Ranabaali, director Rahul is said to have followed the same pattern, such that the world of the film will be so true.

Reports are coming that Ranabaali is the story of a legendary fighter who is still worshipped to this day in the Rayalaseema region, after he fought against the British during the great famine. Already, the director confirmed that there are lot of violent scenes in the film showing how the British tortured Rayalaseema people. And the revolt is said to be stunning in the second half of the film.
