“I Will Go Anywhere for Sandeep”: Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda recently attended the pre-release event of Romanchakam as the chief guest. The film is presented by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga. The movie stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead roles and is directed by Venugopal Reddy. The film is scheduled to release on September 3.

At the event, Vijay Deverakonda spoke about his close relationship with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The actor said that their bond is much more than a normal director-actor friendship. He recalled the difficult days when they worked together on Arjun Reddy.

"Love I have for Sandeep cannot be explained in words. It is not just a bond between a director and hero, brothers or friends. Our bond is much more than that," Vijay said.

He remembered how both of them took a big risk while making Arjun Reddy. At that time, they did not have much money, fame or influence. Still, they decided to take the chance and make the film.

Vijay also spoke about the support given by Sandeep’s family. "When we had no money, Sandeep, his brother Pranay and his father believed in me and invested their family earnings in the film," he said.

The actor added that Arjun Reddy gave him much more than success. He said the film helped him share many special moments and life experiences with Sandeep. "Sandeep will go anywhere for me, and I will go anywhere for Sandeep. If Sandeep calls me and I do not come, then my life is a waste," Vijay said emotionally.

Vijay also praised Sumanth Prabhas and said he could see a strong dream and passion for cinema in him. He encouraged the young actor to keep working hard and believe in himself.

"Success may come today or tomorrow. What matters is how much we enjoyed while working. If we believe in ourselves and have the fire to succeed, nobody can stop us," Vijay said.

He also gave an update about Rashmika Mandanna’s health, saying that she had suffered an injury but was recovering well and enjoying her time.
