Devarkonda & A Star Director: Here's The Buzz

Among the present set of Tier 2 heroes we have, if there is anyone who got immense buzz right from the beginning of his career is none other than Vijay Devarakonda. And that craze happened almost a decade ago with Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy. But frankly speaking, he’s not doing movies with A-league directors to live up to that craze and range.

Earlier, there were reports that director Sukumar wanted to do a war drama with Vijay Deverakonda, but the film never happened. Later, it came out that Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Deverakonda are teaming up, but that too never materialised. However, it’s now coming out that a Tier 1 director is in talks with the hero to bring out a big film.

After the setbacks of movies like Liger, as well as The Family Star and Kingdom, Devarkonda is currently looking forward to Ranabali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan and Rowdy Janardhana by Ravi Kiran Kola. We have to see if a film with a star director might change his fortunes big time, while these two upcoming releases also have the potential to make it big for him.
