A Big Twist In Jana Nayagan Movie Leak Case

The leaked clips of the film, Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, a remake of the Telugu movie Bhagawanth Kesari, are doing the rounds everywhere. Finally, the makers of the movie KVN Productions have lodged an official complaint about the same, as they are shocked by the leakage. With the film’s release stalled by the Court almost 3 months ago, this leakage shocker adds more to the producer’s woes.

At a time when the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi and star hero Kamal Haasan are extending their solidarity to the producers and posting the same on social media, the complaint filed by the makers is giving more shocks. Apparently, the complaint reads that the film clips that are in circulation are said to have happened from the edit suite itself, as the watermark on the video confirms the same. The makers are said to have stated that right from the editing stage itself, these clips have leaked. And now it looks like some cases are lodged on the movie based on the content in these clips only, as the content indicates lots of political sugar coating to help Vijay in the coming elections.

Though there are times when movies get leaked, the film got released and scored a hit, it looks like Jana Nayagan hasn’t had that leverage either, because the CBFC is yet to give clearance for the release. On the other hand, leaking a film before the release is a big crime as that endangers many livelihoods and also puts the crores of rupees invested by producers at risk.
