Vijay’s TVK Leads: Pushpa 2 Meme Is Getting Shared

At a time when Superstar Vijay’s TVK is leading in 107 seats in the Tamil Nadu 2026 assembly election results, with AIADMK and DMK lagging behind with a likely 58 and 69 seats win, the internet has become a meme-fest in Tamil Nadu and the neighbouring Southern states like Andhra and Telangana. Especially many cinema-related memes are being shared, some to support Vijay and some to criticise him.

One of the most interesting memes being shared around Vijay is this “Pushpa 2” reference. Inside that Allu Arjun starrer, as a sitting Chief Minister who refuses to click pictures with the hero, he makes Rao Ramesh the CM on a particular date. When quizzed, the hero says it is a birthday gift for his wife. Now that the meme is being shared, to say that Vijay is likely to become Chief Minister as a birthday gift to his rumoured girlfriend, heroine Trisha Krishnan. Also, Trisha’s old video that she will become Chief Minister in just 10 years down the line is also going viral. They say that as Trisha is not in the race, Vijay became the CM for her.

On the other hand, there are many counter memes where folks are blasting that Trisha will now take the place, like how Jayalalitha took it alongside MGR after the latter won the elections decades ago. Whether Trisha has a real interest in politics or not is not known, but surely, this particular meme is getting viral on social media today. By the end of the day, when the results become official, it’s rumoured that Trisha might meet Vijay.
